FINANCE CAMPAIGN OF CHINESE Y.W.C.A. ENDS

THANKSGIVING SERVICE: PRIZES PRESENTED BY MRS. N.L. SMITH

A THANKSGIVING SERVICE, BRINGING TO A CLOSE THE PRE- SENT YEAR'S JOINT FINANCE CAMPAIGN OF THE YOUNG WO- MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION, was held at the local Y.W.CA. headquarters, 38e. Bonham Road, yesterday evening. The service was followed by the presentation of prizes and a dinner.

The YW.CA. had set a goal of $12,000 for the campaign. but the teams participating together brought in $18.641.76. the sum exceed- ing by more than $6.000 what had been looked forward to.
