EMPIRE FORCES IN GREECE, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE MOVEMENT OF THE GREEK ARMY FIGHTING ON THE LEFT, ARE APPROACHING THEIR NEW DEFENSIVE POSITIONS, states yesterday's Middle East communique, according to a Reuter message from Cairo.
This withdrawal has been covered by AUSTRALIAN and NEW ZEALAND troops whose delaying action has been brilliantly conducted, causing the enemy heavy casualties.
