KOWLOON C.C. TROUNCE CIVIL SERVANTS TO

RETAIN SHIELD

Brilliant Bowling By Lloyd Feature Of Encounter

BY "BARNABAS”

CHAM- CIVIL

THE KOWLOON C. €, HAVE RETAINED THE SENIOR PIONSHIP AS THE RESULT OF THEIR WIN OVER THE SERVICE C.C. last Saturday. The Junior Championship, however, Is still open as both contenders (Kowloon CC, and Craigengower) won their matches. The title now depends on the result of the match between these two teams.,

The Kowloon C.C. have to thank LD. Lloyd for their

victory which enabled them to secure the senior title. He bowled excep- tionally well and took no less than 7 wickets for only 30 runs in 9.7 Both Francis Zimmern and Robbie Lee were bowling far below form and Kowloon CO. would certainly have had a tough time getting the Civil Servants out if Lloyd had bowled less bril- Hantly,

Lloyd made short work of the remaining Civil Service batsmen.
