Despite the constant threat of rain there was a very satisfactory attendance on the final day of the Annual Race Meeting, held at the Valley yesterday.

Ponies, on the whole, ran true to form with the result that there was scarcely any upseta. The biggest win divi- dend was paid by Miss Li Po-chun's A Luxurious Time, which beat the second favourite by three lengths, in the opening event, The Caulfield Stakes. This pony paid $64.30. The highest place dividend was returned by Rose Jane when" she unexpectedly ran in third in the Talping Handicap. A. Rosy Time, the second placed pony in the Flemington Plate, second section, paid $25.40.
