RED CROSS SOCIETY TO SPEND NC$9 MILLION FOR CURRENT YEAR
The budget of expenditure of the National Red Cross Society of China for the current year Was fixed at N.C.$9,600,000 and II.K.$360,000 at the second and last session of its 24th annual con- ference held at its Hongkong Office, Kowloon, yesterday. The conference was closed at 5 p.m.
Presided over by Dr. C. T. Wang, President of the Society, the meeting was attended by Mr. Hsu Shih-ying, Acting Chairman of the National Rellef Commission; Dr. W. W. Ten, former Chinese Ambassador to. Soviet Russia; Mr. Wang Hsiao-lal, Mr. Yeh Kung- cho, Mr. Tu Yuch-sen, Mr. Samuel S. U. Zau, Dr. J. Heng Liu and others.
