SATURDAY'S FOOTBALL:
M'SEX OVERWHELMED BY S. CHINA: CLOSE VICTORY FOR POLICE
RESULTS OF SENIOR LEAGUE MATCHES ON SATURDAY WERE AS EXPECTED though there were same upsets in the Junior divisions, the best performance being that of the Ordnance Corps who beat South China by the odd goal in three.
Eastern, after establishing a big lead had to fight hard to keep Kowloon from drawing level when these two teams met on the rail- way ground the former winning by five goals to three.

SENSATIONAL DEFEAT OF SING TAO
Navy Played Determined Football Throughout
A steriing display by their defence enabled ROYAL NAVY to cause one of the biggest upsets" in the football League yesterday at Causeway Bay when they lowered ·SING TAO'S, (potential champion) colours by infileting a 2-1 defeat.
There was no fluke in their victory, Navy played determined football throughout and thoroughly deserved to win, The Chinese were never really given a chance to settle down and, in the closing stages, when they attempted their last minute spurt. they found Robinson on his tép form.
.. Main credit for this win "must quick succession from Fung, Lal Wilkinson; Coomer. Pearson, Bul-go to Navy's intermediate line and Kwok. len, Saw and R. Thomas.
