Chinese Press Condemns. Wang-Japanese "Treaty"

While all the leading, Chinese papers editorially commented on the Wang Ching-wel-Japanese "treaty" signed in Nanking on Nov. 30, they attached no importance to it, consensus of opinion was that the Nanking affair betrayed the failure of Japan's "political offensive" in China and bared her ruthless determination to exter- minate China as an Independent nation. The papers termed the ""treaty" the crowning insuli to the Chinese people.
