FROM ROZA BRON, Silver prices dropped 1/8 yester day for both deliverles, the quota- tions being 22.7/8 for both Ready

and Forward. Silver advices re- ported the market as being very quiet with по business done. American Silver was quoted at 34.3/4 for Spot.

The market, was idle. NEW YORK COTTON: The market today again hesitated, but there is general bellet that higher prices are necessary to check hold- ings. Mills are watching closely on the "free" supply situation because of the large diversion into the loan. Spots today were quiet but steady. December liquidation is increasing.

NEW YORK RUBBER: The quota for the first quarter of 1941 bas

been fixed at 100 per cent. of capacity.

CINICAGO WHEAT: At the close of the session, there was a broaden- ing of demand, both from mals and Commission houses.' Hedge selling was readily absorbed by increased buying interests.

NEW YORK STOCKS: Previous close, 129.78; Today's close, 130.14:
