Behind the news that since August 15 nearly 6,000 men and women from all stations of life have donated about 3,000 quarts of blood to save the lives of wounded British soldiers and civi Hans is a story which needs to be told—a story of scientific pro- gress, of medical organization, of human generosity, wiltes Waldernar Kaempffert.
