NEW YORK 'RUBBER: There was increased interest in physicals.

CHICAGO WHEAT: Prices continue firm and demand good because

of the firm cash position.

NEW YORK STOCKS: Previous close, 136.64; Today's close, 138.12;

Change, up 1.48.

The local dollar took a downward turn at the opening this morning on Monday, Nov. 11 (Remembrance Day), being Influenced by a temporacy jitterness as a result of the hand- ing over by the French Concession, Authorities of the Chinese District Courts, and the taking over of the old Central Bank Building on the Bund by the Nanking Authorities on the 13th instant.
