CHANGES IN BRITISH MINISTRY: WAR CABINET INCREASED TO EIGHT MEMBERS
LONDON, OCT. 3 (BRITISH WIRELESS)—MR. NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN, LORD PRES IDENT OF THE COUNCIL, having tendered his resignation, His Majesty the King has been gra- ciously pleased to accept it.
Mr. Chamberlain was Prime Minister from May, 1937, until May 11 this year when he re- signed and was succeeded by Mr. Winston Churchill.
The resignation was communicated to the Prime Minister in a letter, dated Oct. 1, in which Mr. Chamberlain wrote:
