After ruling firm on covering demand and scarcity of sellers. the market closed quieter.. NEW YORK COTTON: The trade were fair buyers but speculation was small and many trade buyers appear to be postponing purchases, expecting a gradual, increase of hedges. We doubt December advancing much above 9.75 cents but continue to expect July ultimately around 10.00 cents.
CHICAGO WHEAT: The market is meeting some profit-taking on
the advance but selling is being well absorbed. The tightness. of "free" supplies continues to be the substaining factor.
