Luyties, head of the Division of Agriculture of the Department of Economic Affairs, Batavia, paid a visit to Medan, to discuss the question of increased rubber production with interested concerns there, in view of the decrease of the restriction percentage by five per cent, following the announced intention of the United States Government to lay in extra veserve stocks of rubber to the extent of 150,000 tons, says the Malaya Tribune.
