ROSSELET SKIPS RINK Eastern Beat SPORTING
TO VICTORY IN FINAL FOR SECOND TIME: FINE DISPLAY BY R. DUNCAN
C. S. ROSSELET'S CRAIGENGOWER RINK OF R. BASA, A. E COATES AND J. 8. LANDOLT won the Colony Open Rinks Cham- pionship at the Kowloon Football Club yesterday, R. Duncan losing by 20 shots to 16.

Duncan played a great game to keep Rosselet down to 20, and was responsible for some very good woods. The lle was against him most of the way.
Rosselet managed a four on the 12th hend, à five on the 14th and a three on the 17th heads, but was kept down to singles on the re- maining eight heads he won.
Basa played a useful game at No, 1 for the Craigengower rink. Coates, at No. 2, was perhaps the best performer of the afternoon and Landolt at No. 3 provided the balance that put the rink ahead before it came to the skips' turn. Rosselet put through some good woods, but Duncan was more often "his match.

The sentor Kwong Wah football team lost to Eastern 5-1 on the Police ground yesterday afternoon.
Scorers were: Hau Ching-to (2) Cheung. Kam-hoi (2) and Yue Hop-hing for Eastern and Lau Fook-chuen for the losers.
On the whole, Eastern played a more polished game and displayed; close combination
among the forwards. Individually Kwong Wah had a lot of material and good dribblers but there was lack of team work...
Among the outstanding players Fook-chuen were A. V. Gosano and Lau for Kwong Wah, and Kong Hsin-king Hui King- sing, Yue Hop-hing, Cheung Kam-hol and Hau Ching-to for the winners,
