ROAD NEGOTIATIONS Chungking Believes Japan At End Of Her Tether

CHUNGKING, July 16 (Heater) -Chinese circles are indignant. over the alleged British appeasement policy towards Japan, saying that it is beneath the prestige and dignity of a great power to for- sake the obligations solemnly undertaken, during a long standing friendship. They also feel that the appeasement will be futile to pre- vent further Japanese encroachment on British interests in China and the Far East.

There is a strong belief here that ↑ Germany, Italy; and Japan. are ikely to start a combined offen. sive against Britain and the British Empire in the diffrent parts of the world simultaneously.
