Sinyly was taken into custody.by Sgt. Farquhar when he was seen in Cunton Road on Sunday morn- ing, apparently under "the in fluence of drink. Sub-Inspector Johnson, prosecuting, told the Court. He had missed his ship. which sailed a day before.

The American Consulate and the ship's agents. Dollar and Co.. were informed and the police had been instructed to charge defen- dant with vagrancy.
