FROM ROZA BRUS Silver prices were unchanged yesterday, the quotations remain- Ingat 21 for Ready and 20.15/16 for Forward. Silver advices ported India as having bought to a small extent. The market was steady but quiet. American Silver was quoted at 34.3/4 for Spot..

The London-New York Cross- rate was quoted at 402.1/2. New York London was quoted at 315.

The Sterling market was steady!

Sterling

There were sellers at 1/27/8 May-November, buyers at 1/2- 29/32 for any delivery,

U. S. Dollars Uncertain at the opening but later was very firm. Opened with sellers at 19 with business done later at 19.1/2 for May, 19.3/4 Cash. 20.1/16 June and 20.3/16 June. The market ciosed with sel- lers at 20 for Cash. buyers at 20.5/16 for Cash.

Shanghai Dollars Business was done at 413 and 414. At the close there were sel- lers at 413, probably 414 for Spot.

Shanghai Market, Sterling opened with sellers at 3.1/2 but later armed up to 3.5/8 for Spot. US Dollars sellers at the opening. Towards 4.5/8 at the close sellers were reported at; 4.11/16 for Spot.
