The market is reactionary, induced by
easter Italian a more favourable weather report and reports of an attitude towards the Mediterranean. Trade and Far Eastera inter- ests bought on the scale down. Speculative demand was small. It Is believed that on account of the political expediency. Incident to November election, and increasing 1940 loan, possibly one cent or more higher than 1939. may soon become mandatory.
