JUNE - AUGUST MEETINGS LONDON, April 19 (By Air Mall)

THE FIFTH EXTRA RACE MEETING will be held (weather permitting) at HAPPYYesterday's issue of the Racing VALLEY on SATURDAY, 11th and MONDAY, 13th May, 1940: commencing at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday, and at 12.30 p.m. an Monday.

The first Bell will be rung at 1.30 p.m., on the First Day and at 12.00 NOON on the Second Day: The Tiffin Interval will be after the second race (1.00 p.m.) on the Second Day.

MEMBERS' ENCLOSURE

The temporary green

card. board badges are now cancelled and will no longer procure ad mission to the Enclosure.

No One without a badge will! be admitted to the Members' Enclosure. Such must be worn throughout the duration of each Meeting in such a manner as to be readily identified.

Calendar contained a number of meetings to be held under the Rules of Racing, in addition to those already arranged up to and i including June. 1.

The most important of them is that to be held over the July Course at Newmarket on June 21 and 22. This meeting will take the place of the usual Ascot meeting and will be held under the Astut authority.

SUBSTITUTE RACE
