NEW YORK COTTON: Priceswere steady on more liberal price- fixing and on some Far Eastern Interest buying coupled with the re- lative scarcity of offerings.
NEW YORK, RUBBER: Therewas some moderate Trade Interest at the decline. but demand was non-aggressive. There is a further talk of a 70 per cent, quota for the last half of the year."
