WIN AREA ATHLETIC MEETING CHAMPIONSHIP
WINNING FOUR OF THE EIGHT EVENTS ON THE FINAL DAY'S PROGRAMME, THE 17TH HEAVY REGIMENT. RÖYAL ARTILLERY, ANNEXED THE A REA (ARMY) ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP at the Polo Ground, Boundary Street, yesterday. with a total of 136 points scared in three days' competition.
The 8th Heavy Regiment, wi nuing first place in only one event, the 480 Yards Hurdles Remy, came second with 1311 of points, and the 1st Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, winners the Inter-Unit Athletic Cup last year, thiɛd with 129 points,

Fay was, on the whole, more brilliant player. He had the advantage of build and a greater variety of strokes. but he was not as steady as Pagh and often careless.
