Laws Of War Are Needed Even More Than Before Informal Talk Given By Dr. Lin Wo - chiang
Telling present-day instances of the flagrant violation of International Law were given by Dr. Lin Wo-chiang, M.A., J.D., in an informal talk at the English Forum on the "Laws of War" yesterday evening.
In referring to the indiscriminate bombing of civilians and non-combatants in China by the Japanese, the sink- ing of neutral merchant shipping by Germany without warning, Dr. Lin said these were examples of the violation of International Law and moral law. All these were for- bidden by the Laws of War.
