NEW YORK COTTON: Higher prices ruled at the opening, due to price-fixing by both foreign and domestik 'spinners. The higher, levels attracted realizing but a price-fixing rally occurred towards the close but this, however, was not well maintained. The weather forecast is partly favourable.

NEW YORK RUBBER: The smaller and higher primary ship ment offerings are slowly becoming a strengthening factor.

CHICAGO WHEAT: The liquidation on the unexpected South- West rains technically improved the position, but, the market is still under weather influence as moisture is still needed in the dry areas, Previous close, 150.36; Today's "close.
