Rotary is coming to the aid of street boys in Singapore, and at the conference of Rotarians which is being held over, the Faster holidays, one of the main topics of discussion will be the “After-school Care of Boys."
Representatives of all educational bodies in Singapore and clubs interested In the welfare of boys of all races and, creeds are being invited to take part in the discussion, and it is hoped that, as in the case of Malacca and Penang, the Rotary movement will help to put street boys on their feet in Singapore.
A Youth Welfare Committee may come into existence as a resul; of the forthcoming deliberations; as a prelude to the set ing up of a Boys' Club open to the youth of all races.
