Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 levels. The tonnage from this section increas- ed considerably mostly at the ex- perse of the tonnage from pros- pecting shafts generally. The grade Improved slightly.

ANDERSON SECTION

There was a small decrease in tonnage but a vast improvement i in the grade mined from No. 3 level.

BUKIT KOMAN SECTION Stoping was continued above Nos. 5. 8 and 94 levels. Tonnage Increased slightly with a corres- ponding drop in grade.

DERRICK SECTION

The leading stope above No. 6 level was completed during "the period, the average of the total tonnage being above the present normal run of mine ore. There

was a decrease in tonnage but af definite improvement in grade.

TREATMENT PLANT

The fame of Klangst por- celain is mainly due to the excellent Kaoling which abounds in the province and which is used in the man afacture of porcelain Kaoling, literally high ridge or pass,;" Is `decomposed granite made into

their Anancial and technical as- sistance. Shens and Kwangtung are other provinces known for making porcelain.

Meanwhile, Klangsi Province is equally keen on developing other Industries. More than 200 small- type factorles have been established in the southern part of the province, especially in the country, for making daly necessities for its soldiers and civilians. Efforts are also being made to exploit the tiri, coal. manganese and gold mines in the province-(C. I. C.).
