Speed and more speed by Waite and Birrell, of the Royal En- gineers, proved the downfall of the Royal Scots when these two teams clashed in the final of the Army Seven-a-side Rugger Tourney at the Valley yesterday resulting in a win for the former by three tries (9 points) to a try (3 points).

Both teams were evenly matched and as a resul; some very good rugger was seen. Outstanding for the Engineers were Birrell and Waite who' time and again covered invaluable ground by their speed.
