At The King's

The Lion Has Wings will be. screened today at the King's\. Theatre. As a preparedness re-. port to its citizens, this British production combines documentary technique with patriotic fiction.

It depicts the activities of the Royal Air Force in the war. The enemy is called by his true name and the story, as it actually oc- few curred, happened only", a months ago with a British raid on the Kiel Canal.

That is the highlight. There are other interesting sequences such as the control headquarters where repelling.combat is plotted, or- ganized and dispatched.

The Government lent its omces to the filming of the story: In the chief roles, as the man and wife whose lives are closely touched by war events, are Merle Oberon and .Ralph Richardson.
