FROM BOZA BRON. Sliver prices were unchanged yesterday, "the quotations remain- ing at 20.374 for Ready and 20. 11/16 for Forward, Silver advices reported the market asbelne steady but qulet, American Silver was quoted "at 34.3/4 for Spot.

The London/New York cross- rate was quoted at 402.1/2. "New York/London was quoted at 395.

Sterling There were sellers at 1/27/8. Feb.-June, buyers at 1/2.29/32

Cash

After ruling steady, the market became firm for near positions on trade demand and scarcity of trade demand and scarcity of sel- lers. The market "closed" quiet. *****

NEW YORK COTTON; Spot house selling and scattered March quidation was largely absorbed by rade demand. Outside Inter- est was lacking. The recent phenomenally cold weather conditions in the South is expected to remove any menace from the boli weeyil.

NEW YORK RUBBER: Business today largely consisted dealer hedging against shipment purchases and the market is ap parently awaiting for the decision of the LR.R.C. meeting which is be held today.

Sellers for Sterling were quoted at 47/32 for Spot at the opening. Later the rate rose to 4.1/4 and as the close sellers were quoted again at 47/32 "for Spot US. Dollars opened with sellers at 6.15/16 for Spot. Bubsequently the rate rose to 7 and at the close there were sellers at 8.15/16 - för Spot;
