Mr. R. B. Moller's Satinlight, ridden by his son, Mr. Boojie" Moller, won the Hongkong Derby in splendid style smashing the mile-and-a-half record by nearly five seconds. The winner covered the distance in 2.50:4 while the pre- vlous, record was 2.55:2 which was held by Rose Elect whose six furlong mark too was lowered by a second by Spicylight on Saturday last.

Amicus In the last race Curiae and Lucky Lady dead- heated for first place while in the previous event the first three horses finished almost abreast only a short head separating them.
