On Saturday, 17th, Monday, 19th, Tuesday, 20th and Wednes day, 21st February, the first bell will be rung at 11.30 a.m., and the first race will be run at 12.00 NOON. On Saturday, 24th February, the first bell will be rung at. 1.38 p.m. and the first race will be run at 2.00 p.m.

The tin interval will be after the fourth race on the first four days of the Meeting.

WITH BOTH TEAMS, PLAYING FOOTBALL, yesterday's match between the Salgon Intérport team and the Eastern Athletic Association was undoubtedly the most thrilling of the three matches in which the Saigon visitors took part.

Their defeat by ave goals to one by Eastern can only be attributed to the poor condition of the visiting team after a succes- rough voyage and the strain of having to play three sive matches. However, they were quite up to the occasion and played a scintillating game, only to crumple up in the latter part of the second half under Eastern fastpace.
