The Director of Air Raid Pre- cautions wishes to draw the atten- tion of the general pubile to the fact that application forms for respirators have now been in place at various Police Stations for the last three weeks.
In order that the number of respirators required by the general public can be ascertained, and ar- Tangements made for fitting, etc. it is proposed to withdraw these forms on March 1, 1940..
It is, therefore, of the utmost aportance that anyone desiring to obtain a respirator under the Government soheme should either obtain a form from the Police Sta- tion or apply to the Director of Air Raid Precautions before Feb. 23, 1940.
