NEW YORK COTTON: The trend of the market was upward on account of persistent trade demand and speculative purchases. The progress in the control measure is being made steadily.

NEW YORK RUBBER: Business today largely consisted of deal- ers hedging against shipments,

CHICAGO WHEAT: The visible supply is decreasing and 're- ceipts are increasing. A leading grain expert stresses that mois- ture in the South-West is still in adequate. According to the De- partment of Agriculture, Spring wheat acreage is likely to be in- creased about 10 per cent., and this would mean 200.000,000 bushels.
