For the fist time 'n his career Gary Cooper plays the role of a doctor. He comes to the distant American outpost for experience. but remains to help the army quell the rebellion. At the cutpost he meets Miss Leeds who comes there to visit her father who is the commanding officer. She supplies the romantic touch, to a story fall of fighting, sickness and trouble.
