FOREIGN SYMPATHY
FOR CHINA
COMMUNICATIONS
RECEIVED BY I.P.C.
CHUNGKING, Jan. 19 (Central) -That worldwide sympathy for China has mounted instead of de- crassing, since the beginning" of war in Europe, is demonstrated by communication that have recently been received by the China Branch of the International Peace Cam- paign.
SWEDISH SYMPATHY "We will now understand better than before. ""declared the Swedish National Committee of the Inter- national Pesce Compaim in a let- ter to its fraternal organisation in China, "that peace must be uni versal and that the establishment of an International law must be l the main interest for all people. resistance against the Your aggressor is a help for us!"
i: AUSTRALIAN SUPPORT In a
statement of policy, the Australian Council of the Laterna- tional Peace Campaign, Melbourne, Australia, urged continued support of the right of the Chinese people to their freedom and independence. | "For many years," the Australian Council says, the Chinese have bone the brunt of the war that might have been ours. Realisation of the cruelty of war being more alive in us 'should make our fellow feeling for them the more practi- cal."
