NEW YORK RUBBER: There was a broader demand, reflecting the strength of the primary markets and reports of aggressive Lon- don buying, while a scarcity "of shipment offers and mention of an unchanged quota during the second quarter were also stimulating factors.

CHICAGO WHEAT: Lower cables brought additional opening Iquidation. The set-back attracted a fair yolume of mill buying. The market however, was in the doldrums appearing unwilling to cast off the bearishness occasioned by the huge world stocks. World expected to be 200,000,000 stocks of wheat on July this year were
