Jockey Club's Annual Race Meeting 1940
Record entries and attractive dividends and sweepstake prizes are expected at the Hongkong Jockey Clubs annual Race Meeting, at Happy Valley next month, which operis the season for the new year. The programme comprises five days' racing-Saturday, Feb. 17 Monday. Feb. 19, Tuesday, Feb. 20, Wednesday, Feb, 21, and Satur- day, Feb. 24, starting on the first four days at 12 noon, with inter- vals at 1.30 p.m., and at 2 p.m. on the last day.
Entries for the meet will close at the Secretary's Office, Exchange Building, at 3 pm. on Saturday, Jan. 13.

An Outdoor Demonstration of Progressive 'Exercises by the Women's League of Health is being given at the South China Athletic Association Stadium, Caroline Hill, to-morrow morning, when a big attendance is anticipated.
