CHUNGKING, DEC. 31 (Central)--Chinese people in Thailand were greatly elated over the Thalland Government's recent re- lease of

official exchange of telegrams between Gen- eralissimo Chiang Kai-shek and the Thailand Prime Minister concerning the protection of Thailand Chinese,

The Generalissimo's telegram, dated November 29, requested the Thai Government to give continued full protection to Chin-. ese people in Thailand, and to permit. them to engage in lawful accupations without undue interference.
