Death Of Old Portuguese Resident

MR. MANUEL A. DE

FIGUEIREDO

The death occurred yesterday at 3.20 am, at his residenck, 65, Waterloo Road, Kowloon, of Mr. Manuel Augustó de Figueiredo, aged 83.

Deceased, who is survived by his wife, son, daughter-in-law and a grand-daughter, had been for almost a year.

He was in his earlier years em- ployed at Messrs. Shewan Tomes and Co., in Canton and Hongkong' and later joined the Green Island Cement Co., where he worked for a number of years in's position of trust.
