A meeting of the Legislative Council will be held today to the Council Chamber, at 2.30 p.m.. with Big Excellency the Governor presiding.

Sir Henry will ask: In view of the statement made in Govern- ment Notification No. S. 645, in the Government Gazette of Dec. 8. 1939. to the effect that Hong- kong is declared an infected port ot account of cholera in the following places, namely: Bangkok. Slam. Tientsin, the Netherlands Indies, Singapore, the Federated Malay States, Amoy, Egypt, Pales- tine. Tsingtao, Shanghai and the Philippine Islands, will the Gov- emment state how many cases of cholera have been reported in this Colony during each of the Ave weeks up to Dec. 9, 1839?

The Hon, the Colonial Secretary will move "That the report of the Finance Committee (No...), dated Dec 7, 1939, be adopted..

STYLE OF OFFICE The Attorney General will move the following resolution:-"
