COTTON: The market was firm with interest centering on to- day's farmers' referendum which is expected to receive the majority. Cotton cloth sales for the past two weeks continued to encouraging.
RUBBER: Shipments are arm and there has been a good de- mand from the factory. November consumption is estimated by the "Trade at around $2,500 tons,
WHEAT: The firmness of the foreign markets, the cold wave in Argentine, and the failure of the weekly weather forecast dicate any relief in the drought sections were all stimulating in- fluences. The potentially tight cash position is also a helpful factor.
HIDES: Active demand in domestic leather is reported.
