COTTON: The market was firm with interest centering on to- day's farmers' referendum which is expected to receive the majority. Cotton cloth sales for the past two
weeks continued to be encouraging.
"RUBBER; Shipments are firm and there has been a good de- mand from the factory. November consumption is estimated by the Trade "at around 52,500 tons.
WHEAT: The firmness of the foreign markets, the cold wave in Argentine, and the fallure of the weekly weather forecast to in- dicate any rellet in the drought sections were all stimulating in- finences. The potentially tight cash position is also a helpful factor.
