High tribute was paid to the excellent patriotic spirit shown by the students of the Central British School, when, at their annual prize day yesterday, both the Prin- cipal, the Rev. G. E. S Upsdell, M.A., H.Ç.F., C.I.EE., and Mr. Justice R. E. Lindsell, who presided, in their addresses to the large gathering present, disclosed how the students had decided to forego almost all the prizes that were to be won and, with Government conscent, had the prize fund diverted to the British War Organisation Fund. The idea was their own and came without any promoting."
