Nazi Merchant Ships Captured By French

LONDON, Nov. 29 (Reuter)—A German broadenst announced that British heavy cruiser of the London Class was torpedoed and destroyed cast of the Shetlands.

One of the vessels was of 8,000 tons and the other of 4,500 tons. They had apparently left a Spanish port in which they sought refuge at the outbreak of war desparate attempt to steal through the blockade.
