Young School Keeper

GOODBAN'S HURRICANE CENTURY: "FATTY" MINU STRIKES FORM

By E. U. Ropes"

The fact that many of our cricketers were away with the Volunteers at Camp over the week-end seriously inter- fered with the cricket programme and only a few games were played.

Highlight of the programme was a hurricane century by G. A. Goodban, headmaster of the Diocesan Boys' School who took something like 57 minutes to knock up a hun- dred odd runs against the School for the Kowloon Cricket Club Juniors. His knock of 104, retired, included no less than 19 boundaries. The School lost by 163 runs sound a beating as ever they got.
