SATURDAY'S FOOTBALL:
"Diehards" Hold Champions To Draw: Saints Take Full Points From 'olice-Leonard Does The "Hat Trick"
South China "A" very nearly lost their unbeaten record when they met the Middlesex Regiment in a League match" at Bookunpoo on Saturday, and only the good work of Tam Kwan-kon in goal for South China saved the day.
The final score was 2-all, but the soldiers pressed the attack throughout the second half, and might have scored a third time, ́
South China actually led, Jai Ship-wing scoring the firsat goal after 10 minutes of play, and Ip Pak-wah the second goal about 15 minutes later, the champions pressing hard throughout the first half."
wong Wah beat the Royal Scots by four goals to two at Boundary Street on Saturday, the superior combination of the Kwong Wah forward. Hine winning the day.
