HEUNG KAT-SANG, WINNER OF THE 400 AND 800 METRES CHAMPIONSHIPS AT THE C.A.A.F. meet on October 10, won also the 10,000 metres open title at the Caroline Hill Stadium yesterday when he led a field of 11 finishers to complete the race in 39 minutes 38.5 secs." This time is far behind the record established by Stoker C. Brown, last Christmas, of 36 minutes 19.9 secs.
