The market was quiet, COTTON: There was a consistent foreign and domestic trade demand. Sentiment was more favourable on the Government Loan being offered in a liberal way. 'Spot' offering was light, as pro- ducers are taking advantage of the Loan. We would remain to be bullish.
RUBBER: The market was quiet but steady. There was, ap- parently a good demand at under market prices. The weakness of Sterling, however, continues to be a restraining factor.
WHEAT: Prices today declined on a. forcast of rains in the South-West. Exports were poor. We would be cautious.
HIDES: The market eased in sympathy with the Stock market. The weakness in Sterling is an adverse factor. pending further developments,
