ST. LEGER MEETING AT THE VALLEY FINE DISPLAY OF MAR KSMANSHIP TO-MORROW: KEEN RACING ANTICIPATED AT H.K.R.A MID WEEK SHOOT

(By "Last Quarter")

Included in the programme of eight events down for decision at the Tenth Extra Race Meeting of the Hongkong Jockey Club at Happy Valley tomorrow, the Sub. Griffins and Freemantle St. Legers will be the main items of in- terest to racing enthusiasts present.

In the first named event, which appears on paper to be a good thing for King Kong, a small field will line up at the barrier, but the race itself will probably develop into a much closer struggle than anticipated by many.

A well balanced and fairly large field, however, will strip for the Freemantle St. Leger and we are certain to see the best of this year's Australians amongst them.
