BUDDHISM IN U.S.

(Special to the "Hongkong Daily Press ")

An ambitious scheme for the propagation of Buddhism throughout America by the institution of mission centres, hospitals and schools throughout the country was unfold- ed to a representative of the "Hongkong Dally Press ** yesterday by a young American-born Buddhist blkku of Polish parentage, who is now in Hongkong.

The Ven. Bikku Chee Hoy,:

He has established his head- quarters at a Buddhist temple near Castle Peak, where he is training selected young men and girls for the great task he has in store for them in the United States.
