COTTON: There was a consistent foreign and domestic trade demand. Hedging was small. on prospects that a government loan will shortly become mandatory and that domestic cotton consumption this season will be heading for the highest total on record. It is conservatively estimated by a reliable Trade resource that domestic mills will use 8,000,000 to 8,500,000bales this season,

RUBBER: The market was easy, being largely the redection of the reports that near month's arrivals will be heavy and the bellef" that supplies will be ample here. Dealers were the principal sellers. There was a fair amount of support but buying was not impressive. WHEAT: Cash premiums are still maintained in the United States. There was no change in the drought conditions in South- West. In the Winnipeg market, an easier tone prevailed favourable weather conditions, and this was reflected in our market, HIDES: The market was steady in sympathy with the stock market. Traders are mostly adopting a walting attitude pending Washington development on Neutrality revision.
